Timothy draws from his years of experience navigating the claims handling process in-house for a large national insurer and litigating insurance coverage and policyholder liability disputes in private practice to help the firm’s clients successfully resolve coverage issues and cases arising under various insurance products.

Before Nicolaides

Timothy was an associate at a civil litigation firm in Chicago, where his practice split between insurance coverage and insurance defense litigation involving construction defect, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, discrimination, personal and advertising injury, and property damage claims.  Before that, Timothy was field counsel in the litigation office of a large national insurance company, handling personal lines claims and gaining deposition, discovery, mediation, and trial experience.  

Outside Nicolaides

Timothy resides in Chicago’s North Side with his spouse, and the two enjoy traveling, cooking, and exploring the city together. Timothy has also been a musician for many years, having learned to play several different instruments.
