Lauren counsels insurers regarding coverage issues and represents insurers in litigation relating to claims arising under cyber, fidelity, directors, and officers (D&O), errors and omissions (E&O), and commercial general liability (CGL) policies.
Lauren is also an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Before Nicolaides
As an associate in the Chicago office of a national litigation firm, Lauren focused her practice on insurance coverage litigation and counseling. In this capacity, Lauren drafted coverage opinions and position letters and assisted in coverage litigation by drafting briefings, pleadings, and written discovery. Before that, Lauren was a judicial law clerk for Presiding Judge Grace Dickler in the Domestic Relations Division of the Cook County Circuit Court, researching and drafting memoranda, orders, and opinions for judges within the division.

Lauren enjoys spending time with friends and family, skiing, swimming, and playing water polo.
