Kara represents insurers in coverage matters, with an emphasis on litigated disputes. Her experience includes general commercial litigation and claims involving construction, product liability, medical malpractice, and subrogation.
Kara’s background also includes matters involving mesothelioma, asbestos exposure, and real estate, drawing on her experience in both private practice and in-house legal departments.

Before Nicolaides
Before joining Nicolaides, Kara gained practical experience across private practice and in-house settings. She served as an associate and a summer associate at a civil litigation firm. She also held roles as a law clerk and in-house counsel extern for real estate and personal injury firms in Chicago, as well as a real estate investment trust.Outside Nicolaides
Kara is passionate about giving back to her community and volunteers with the American Heart Association and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She has also participated in mission trips supporting children and education abroad.NEWS & INSIGHTS
